I begin every project by getting to know the client and their needs and expectations. Then I research their target audiences to get a feel for what appeals to them; how my illustrations and designs can visually relate information that reaches them on their level. Only at that point can I begin the actual projects. I usually begin this phase by developing several concepts and initial comps that I submit to the clients for their approval.
After deciding with the clients on which concepts to pursue, I begin fleshing it out, all the while keeping clients involved by constantly encouraging their feedback and suggestions. In addition, I closely adhere to strict project management guidelines and take unforeseen circumstances into account which could adversely affect the completion of projects on time and within the expected budget. Every effort is made to keep clients happy at all times.
I always use the finest materials in the production of each deliverable. These include both traditional materials like pens, pencils, ink, and paper, as well as computer design production hardware and software. I ensure that the latest versions of the Adobe Suite of programs are installed on all the computers I use and I also check color and type compatibility in both Windows and Macintosh environments so that the designs are seen as they are intended.
To close every project I officially hand the final designs to the client in a professional presentation. But the relationships with my clients do not end there. I follow up with you to gauge the success of my designs because I want you to choose me for any of your future design needs.
